So when I went out to visit the Evernote World Headquarters recently, I was SO EXCITED when I saw the newest Evernote Food. I thought I might die of anticipation. Then today, BOOM, there it was as an update on my phone. Good news is, you can do it too.
My favorite thing about it? Um, everything. I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it when I first downloaded it. Then, when this update came along, um, let’s just say I was jumping up and down. Seriously. This version is much prettier, and has some awesome features. Here’s my three favorites:
1. Recipes. Yes, I have a lot of them. I like to collect them, try them, and catalog them. Now, they are all in one place (I had an Evernote notebook for this, which may stay, we’ll see.) Now, when I clip recipes, they go right into Evernote Food. Oh, automation, I do love thee.
2. Map those restaurants. Hey, when you’re out, and looking for a great place to eat or drink coffee (*raises hand*), it’s nice to just pull up a map and see where that place is. Yes, please.
3. Saving meals. Ok, so some of these might make the blog. Like the time I talked about making bento. Or next year when I try to remember what they blazes was on last year’s Thanksgiving table. Yep, there it is in Evernote. Organization bliss.
I am LOVING this app, and I can see how this will be a pretty darned useful update for those who love food, like to document, or even blog about it. *wink wink*
